DUBLIN CHARITY BROCHURE TO BE DISPLAYED IN SPANISH NATIONAL MUSEUM
Posted by Admin on 19/10/2010

As part of the European Commission’s Year of Combating Poverty and Social Exclusion the Spanish National Museum of Decorative Arts in Madrid is showing an exhibition in November called “Design against Poverty”. Peter McVerry Trust’s Corporate Christmas Brochure 2009 will be displayed as part of the exhibition.

The aim of the exhibition is to show design as an important tool to develop and improve actual resources for those suffering poverty or social exclusion.

The Opening Doors Christmas Campaign brochure was designed by Diarmuid Scollard of 20:20Vision with the aim of raising awareness among the business community of the plight of Dublin’s young homeless people and to encourage the business community to help by donating their Corporate Christmas card and gifts budget to the Peter McVerry Trust. The brochure displayed stark images representing homelessness and carried the slogans “You hold the gift of hope“, “For the 2000 homeless people in Dublin this Christmas” and “Together we can support young people to break the cycle of homelessness”. Anne-Marie Connolly, Head of Fundraising said “We were delighted with the brochure designed by Diarmuid at 20:20Vision. It had a great impact within the business community and resulted in this campaign raising over €100,000 for the Peter McVerry Trust. It is fantastic that it has been included in the Madrid exhibition and recognised as a powerful tool in the battle against poverty and social exclusion.”

“We are very grateful to 20:20Vision and our other sponsors Dataconversion, Print Bureau and Independent News & Media for working so hard to make this campaign possible every Christmas”.

Peter McVerry Trust supports young homeless people to break the cycle of homelessness and move towards independent living through its continuum of care services including Open Access and Streets to Home, Supported Temporary Accommodation, Under 18’s Services, Drug Stabilisation and Detox, Drug Free Aftercare Service and Housing with Supports. In 2009 the Trust helped over 550 young people. The majority of our funding comes from voluntary donations, therefore the support of the business community is invaluable to the success of the organisation.

FITZERS CATERING GETS REBRANDED
Posted by Admin on 21/04/2010

Over the past few months 2020 Vision have been making a few tasty changes to the Fitzers Catering Ltd corporate brand.

We have taken their existing logo and made it look as good as one of their gourmet dishes and repositioned their branding through all aspects of their business. We designed their new corporate brochure, van livery, menus, corporate stationery, tender bid materials and corporate website.

As part of this extensive project our professional in-house photographer was commissioned to take photos of some of the dishes prepared by Fitzers Catering in both their gourmet and social event kitchens. A selection of the photos can be viewed on the Fitzers Catering website. We hope it makes your mouth water as much as it did ours.

SENSE FINANCIAL GET A NEW WEBSITE
Posted by Admin on 14/04/2010

Over the past few weeks 2020 Vision has been working on the design and development of a new website for Sense Financial Services. Sense Financial Services is an independent financial advisory company situated in Dublin 14.

The project requirements were clearly defined and straight forward; Sense Financial needed a new website that was geared to their new product offerings and services, targeted a specific type of audience, was user friendly and most importantly built onto a content management system that would allow Sense Financial to update the website content without the assistance of the 2020 Vision development team.

We provided Sense Financial with a website look and feel that is fresh, speaks to the correct target audience and is user friendly in the way that the content and menu items are laid out. All information that the target audience is seeking can be found within 3 easy clicks. The website was also built onto Joomla CMS which is a very user friendly CMS platform that Sense Financial can update and manage themselves moving forward. The CMS also allows Sense Financial to expand their website information without having to reinvent the wheel.
